J. Lassalle
Brut Premier Cru Champagne Blend
Apples and brioche. A quaffable champer that’s hard to stay away from. Always love when someone pops the cork on one of these.

Jan 7th, 2018Jules Lassalle established this family-owned Champagne house in 1942 in the village of Chigny-Les-Roses on the Montagne de Reims. Fruit/floral bouquet, w/chalky minerals. Fine bubbles, nice mousse, showing quality. Outstanding rich flavors of peach, lemon and honey, well balanced, good structure, creamy. Finish with toasty oak & mineral notes that lingered. Very consistent quality.

Dec 22nd, 2017Not mind blowing, but a solid Non Vintage Champagne. Nothing stood out but seriously balanced. Nice for da price.

Aug 11th, 2020This champagne has sentimental value but it drinks well too. Some toast, but mainly brioche counterbalanced by green apples, citrus and unripe strawberries. A very faint hint of vanilla on the short finish.
