Las Mercedes Carmenere

Dried blackberries, violets, vanilla, plant stems, pottery soil, black pepper, cheese rind. Funky and not for everyone. Lacked acidity.

On the nose this vintage was likely influenced by what I can only assume to have been a major beef stroganoff factory leaking into the soil.

Nose: grandmas dresser drawers that no one has opened for two years after her passing.
Taste: expired cigar that lost most flavor, violet candy, med tannic structure (possibly open for quite a bit), dash of bacon bits but oddly floral. This wine is confusing me.
