Forgot to photo-quite an intriguing, fresh Syrah blend from Lebanon, like a second cousin once removed from Northern Rhone. Needs air to calm down a bit, not quite pop & pour. Punchy red fruits, medium acidity, it made for good company to Middle Eastern fare with the locals (&family) at Neni restaurant, in Amsterdam.

Nice fruit, great structure, grows in volume and length, serious juice!

Big in fruit, supple in texture and tannins, medium in finish. Baskets of ripe summer berries and plums. Super young but should develop well for the next 3-5 years.

30+ minute decant. Reminds me of the wines we had in Croatia. Not a lot of fruit but gritty and full of herbal and floral tones. Medium minus depth. Nice texture. Weaker than expected. Overpriced on the wine list. At least I’ve now had the two best wines from Lebanon.

Opened it a bit too early. Still has many years until it reaches its peak. Lovely full bodied, deep rich color. Tobacco, leather, peppermint and licorice and spices.

One of the best wines I ever had. My experience was dark chocolate scent and a perfectly and a balanced mix of earthy, cherry and spicy taste.
