California Pinot Noir

Peppery, with well balanced tannins, and primary notes of chocolate covered cherries.

This was recommended by a local wine store. A good Pinot, not overbearing. Good deal for $18.

Nose: blackberry/dark cherry, some Earth, slight vanilla, complex
Taste: fruity with ashy undertones, sweeter & lighter fruit finish, but smoky & bitter flavors are too strong.

Wow. Smooooth. Slightly heavier than your average Pinot noir but also fruity and earthy. Aroma told me this would be sharp on the back end but there was nothing of the sort. Lovely. Another great selection from #moraswinetasting !

Last vintage of a vintners that was burned down by wild fires. From Tucker. Tasty.

Color isn’t like Pinot at all with shades of purple. Nose of nice berries and leather, a bit tobacco leaves, and definite strength of alcohol. Taste is quite sweet like berry jam, hint of citrus peel, maybe a bit vanilla. Aftertaste of a bit hotness from alcohol and bittersweet zest. A straightforward tasting experience but a bit boring and a bit too sweet.

I love the weight of this pinot. It's spicy, purple, yum. Thank you Kenny for bringing it home. It hit the spot

This was crazy good bing cherry and full bodied deep red and a nice touch of cardamom
