This wine hit 18 on top 100 list in 2017. Best known for Sparkling Wines, served at White House since 1985. Pale salmon color, a blend of 73% Pinot Noir and 27% Chardonnay & aged 3 years prior to release, showing aromas of red fruit with citrus and biscuit notes. On the palate flavors of apple, strawberry and cherry flavors with orange zest, earthy yeasty spice and tiny bubbles. The wine is well balanced, good acidity, some yeast and minerality on the long finish.
