Restrained style, no "fat" on the bone with this one, just lots of pink peppercorn, underbrush and black currants.

Decanted for about 2 hours... Better as the the pours went on. Not great not bad. Just average. Rich in dark berry, vanilla and tobacco

The wine has a weird menthol smell on the nose. It gives way to raisins. The palate also has notes of dried black fruit like raisins and prunes. This wine should be decanted and spend some time in the glass. 8 out of 10.

Good quality bottle. Definitely better as it opens a bit. Last glass was 2 hours after initial decant and was significantly better than the first pour.

Smoke and strawberry jam nose with a bang of alcohol. Deep purple color and oily legs after a swirl. Plum currants an minerals with a slightly burnt finish. Alcohol prominent after taste.
