Probably the most interesting of the two. Stewed tomato leaf, cinnamon, musk, again sharp acidity. There’s some baked/dried fruit hinting at ripeness there. Very disjointed palate, poorly stored for who knows how long. Interesting at least.

Poor storage, but surprisingly there, especially the 1963. Dried red fruit, leather, vanilla/coconut, tobacco, rose, earthy and oxidative but pleasantly so. Acidity is firm as hell, thin palate. A smeller not a drinker.

Opened up with classic notes of licorice, mint, mushroom and soy, then evolved into orange peel dipped in bitter chocolate.

Weighing in at 12% alc. The color is youthful - great varietal notes of eucalyptus and mint - the opposite of today's ripe and jammy style - but very fresh and alive!!

Cask A-9. Dried but still very fresh red fruit on nose and palate. Still very much alive with secondary notes of baking spices coffee leather
