A nose of plum, raisin up front with tertiary aromas black pepper, graphite & smoke. Tastes of sugar plum & tart cherry, with baking spices and a touch of sage leaf on the finish. Notably this Malbec is quite nuanced and well balanced throughout, especially for the price. Used in the making of and paired excellently with braised pot roast and mashed potatoes! ($10) [11/15/20]
