It’s has a tangy, almost chalking start and almost no finish to it.

I’ve been developing a fondness for the non-Malbec Wínes of Argentina. This one particularly good. It lists only Cabernet Sauvignon but no other varietal. I suspect it’s a blend. It has lovely restrained fruit full of complex notes of blackberry and leather and tobacco. The depth of the flavor lasts throughout the taste from front to back but it is a heavy wine. The acid is beautifully balanced. I had it with a mild meal of roasted rosemary salmon and roasted potatoes and green beans but I might have had a better experience with a rich meat stew or spicier dish.

Mar 18th, 2018Full body and definitely lots of flavor. A little too bitter and tart, perhaps needs more time. Got this on last bottle.

Sep 27th, 2017Got this on last bottle for $14. Just opened it so perhaps it needs to breathe for a hot minute but so far the way they described it seems like I'm drinking something else....hum. Oh it's a 2012 too.
