As @Greg Ballington pointed out, the bottle is VERY full. I think this is an excellent value wine. Quite smooth and pleasant. Not complicated. At under $10 would be a nice choice for a big party. Blackberries, plums, cocoa, and some clay.

Have never seen a bottle so full before. Medium ruby red. A little bit of red fruits, cassis, and a little herbal. Sweet tannins (5/10) and light plus to medium bodied. A touch savory on the backend but with lots of fruit up front. Would be interesting with more air. Drink till 2021.

Enjoyed as much as the 2018 ($9) with pork tenderloin. A wonderful table wine. Enjoyed again with lamb stuffed peppers. Would rater higher as 8.9. Must have been the company and slight chill of the wine on s hot day

Tasted in 2014: Fantastic cherry aromas, violets, red flowers, and red clay minerals. Wonderful, inexpensive red.
