I feel like this just didn’t pop and shimmer as much as my fave rieslings but still enjoyable for its supple texture and concentrated flavors. Fruit starts at lemon and progresses to honeyed apricot and even reaches into a bit of a tropical sort of pineapple register, with some fennel, chamomile, smoke and wet stones.

Quite closed & shy on the nose with a touch of apricot in honey and some flowery notes. On the palate packed with energy & tension. Rich in the midpalate (apricot again) turns then steely & tight wound around a core of mineral acidity. A dash of herbs and beeswax add to the complexity. This is really good stuff!
