At eight years old this Barolo is entering its drinking window. Wonderful purity, red fruit, roses and tar. On the lighter side but good intensity and sustains well. Tertiary notes starting to develop.

What an interesting find in a wine store in Western NY. Earthy, mushroom, dried violets, dried roses, tar, tea leaves, great acidity, tannins are present but not overpowering. Wonderful.
