Nose has caramel, apricot, raisin, burnt honey, a very slight oxidative note. Vibrant in the mouth, with bright, earthy apricot in the initial hit, but then slowly transitioning to barrel-encased raisin and caramel. Very long finish. I’m more a late harvest Riesling guy but this is a stellar example of its type.

Takes me back to Siena. Nutty, little caramel, dried dark stone fruits and fig. Complex. Very sweet.

Color of nice clear dark brown sugar. Nose is beautiful with ripe concentrated raisins, mocha, and some fermented grains. Taste follows the same structure with mocha note being so seducing. Adding to this is some plummy and fruity acidity. Aftertaste is long with sustaining acidity and mocha note. A nice one which gives you feeling of high quality brandy.
