This review is not for the Merlot 2016 Clivi Brazan Friulano Best example of this varietal I have ever tried(from over 20 examples)...clean aromas, rich and complex but not at all reduced/earthy, so well made. Begs for dinner! Very fine texture without strong Almond bitterness in the finish. Not cheap for me at least it sets a benchmark for Friulano BRAVO!

Sunshine and stone; vinous & creamy on the mid-palate, with Gruner-like vegetal tones (arugula, green olives, raw almonds). Fantastic for daytimes.

Good, but not as mind blowing as his whites-- some wines should be drunk younger-- this probably peaked 2 years before it was released--

A lovely little white from Collio-Friulano. Just enough acidity to be perky w salads, but a bit of palate weight to be worthy of (finally) a crackle of autumn in the air.
