McMinnville Riesling

A superb Willamette Valley Riesling. Stunning unforgettable aromas of white peach, lemons, limes, white flowers & spice. Delicate, elegant, yet full of complex flavors that flow in seamless waves from front to back, ending with subtle, polished acidity.

Light golden yellow in color. Diesel and sulfur notes in nose initially. Stone fruit flavors in front, rounded mouthfeel followed by slight grape skin astringency with apricot skin like finish. Slightly flawed; needs gentler pressing next time for an otherwise subtle but promising Riesling wine. Odd as previous tastings of same vintage were superior; is it bottle variation, or just me that's variable tonight?

Clear and yellow white in color. Diesel heavy in nose. Crisp, bright lemon, lychee and honey with lemon peel finish. Aged well

Yellow white in color. Clean floral and honey aroma. Crisp in mouth with slight astringency at tip of tongue. Soft, lemon flavor in middle, not bone dry but between dry and off-dry. Minerality, citrus and peach water finish. True to variety, simple, tasty, relatively unadorned but very well balanced wine.

Elmers glue, steel, petrol, white flowers, bread dough. Gorgeous. Super clean palate.

Excellent new world Riesling discovery. Nice acidity and minerality.

Concrete wall, stucco, light petrol, savory fruit character, tart, good acid. 3.25

Lemon merengue and some minerality, overall clean. Yum! Really good for Oregon.
