Carneros Chardonnay

Shockingly youthful and bright. Pale gold. Great acid. Lemon, hazelnut, clarified butter, smoke, chalky minerality, mushroom, more to come.

Fun to try but not the best older HDV I've had

Reminded me of the last St. Aubin I had. Medium bodied. Lemon peel with vanilla.

2001 at winery April 2016. Nice full creamy honey flavor well balanced with acid. Moderate consistent linger. Truly excellent!

Fleetingly sweet then drops fast into rather flat acid linger.

Perfectbalance of acid and soft fruit, long consistent linger. Absolutely wonderful, hard to get better! Awesome

A wonderful chardonnay, able to stay with a beef roast in spite of its age. A real winner.

I tasted dried cherries, rajiv doesn't agree

Not oaky. Light.
