1 person found it helpfulNov 20th, 2017Pale straw with more than enough small bubbles. Medium intensity nose of tropical fruits and sweet honey. It’s a touch shy for quite a while but when it does blossom, it blossoms. White peaches and fresh lemons abound here.
35/35/30 CH/PN/PM with 3 g/l dosage so it has that refreshing bite. Six years on lees and disgorged in January of 2020 so there is some nice maturity here. Balance is the word. This is one of the most expertly balanced champagnes I’ve tasted. Everything in it’s proper place and finely tuned.
Plenty of complexity and finesse on the palate. Citrus flavors dominate all day long. Let this sit for an hour or two so it has time to evolve. It’s smooth, sleek, and more than a bit sexy. Really good today, much better a year from now.

2012 vintage: Straw coloured, extra dry (like before fore play), crispy with lemon zest along with Japanese sea urchin and fried chicken. Happy Sunday evening!

Oct 18th, 202017/20 (92/100) Приятный аромат с нотами спелых яблок, белой дыни, ванили и уверенным тоном сдобной булки. Довольно высокая кислотность. Аппетитная горчинка во вкусе.
