This is excellent - exceeding my expectations- decanted for three hours - still tastes young / this can rest 5 years easy
Big bold beautiful - color was gorgeous- taste was really intoxicating- taste was like driving a sports car with accelerating speeds of goodness - my palette was delighted - the longevity of the finish was amazing

After 3 hrs decant this was peaking. Huge sweet fruit and spice on the nose at opening but this turns into something special. Full body, opulent, neverending dark fruit, and medium + finish. This and the quivet napa are amazing cabs for 60 bucks and under. 94/95pts

One of our last bottles of Hunnicutt 2013 Cabernet. If you like intense, fruit forward Napa Cabs, this is unquestionably a candidate for Wine of the Year. Parker gave it 95 points - not bad for a $60 wine! Buy it from us or buy it from someone else. Just make sure you try it before it's gone

Only had two bottles left. I opened this because I had the ‘13 935 the other night and it was on the backside of life. Great but most of the tension was gone. I opened this up thinking it too might not have much time left. It’s gorgeous. The tannins are mostly resolved but there’s still a touch of pucker on the finish providing a nice framing to the fruit. Also some acidity providing structure and tension.
The mouthfeel is incredible. Love the fruit. Black currant pinch, blackberry, coffee, with kirsch and black tea.
This bottle was my first experience with Hunnicutt. It and @Jason and Jennie ‘s reviews led to me joining the club. It’s my favorite club because of both the wine and the people. Tonight is a good wine night. Nice work @Justin Stephens

Jun 7th, 2019It's with great joy and sadness I open up this last bottle from the case. It seems almost wrong to be finishing up a case of 2013 already, but it's just so good!
The good news is the that reviews from Jason Oliver have convinced me to sign on to the Hunnicutt club. First case gets here in November! 🍷 cheers Mr Oliver.
