2012 vintage. Classic sweet lychee aromas, but shows a little more restraint and has a bit of minerality in there as well. On the palate, there is good spice. Interesting wine.

Lychee town. Slight bitterness in finish. Could use some cellaring imo. Acids quite alright to balance sweetness. Classic Alsace Gewurtz.

Fantastic representation of Gewurztraminer. Dry body and a good amount of honey-like sweetness. Clear, straw yellow color in the glass. Perfect amount of spice on the nose and on the palate, with flavors of mango and lychee. Im pairing this wine with a delicious arugula salad with pomegranate, goat cheese, cranberries, walnuts, and homemade dressing.

Light bodied, dry Gewürztraminer with citrus notes, faint tropical fruit, clean minerality. Alcohol content (14%) felt a little high for it to pair successfully with my spicy Pad Thai. Paired fairly well with it's fellow Alsatian, Munster!

21$ SAQ 2012 Gewurtraminer Good but I am disappointed of the fact that it´s faint, not as complex and rich as I am used with Gewurtraminer. Lack of sugar concentration in the grapes that year? Do I detect a hint of oak? Peu de longueur en bouche...
