Hudson
Estate Grown Napa Valley Chardonnay
14’ Hudson Chardonnay. The 2015 has a little more balanced to it. This 14 has much more pronounced oak. Drink them up soon. Not getting any better!

Aug 26th, 201814’ Hudson Chardonnay. This 14 is surprisingly accessible at such a young age.
Palate- Creaminess, orange blossom, pear, honey, very light acidity, hint of spiced oak. New world, big chard.
Unfolds slowly, once the wood integrates this should get even better. Don’t know how long these 14s from Hudson will be in a sweet spot. I’m not thinking a short time. If you’re planning on opening one soon… 15 minutes in the glass will help. Drink until 2020. IMO The best vintage so far!!

Great texture, richness, and opulence while still retaining some acidity and balance. Nice expression of carneros fruit. 2014 vintage.

Apr 8th, 2017Delicious! Huge flavor but not undisciplined in any way. Lovely balance of fruit and acidity. Definitely tends toward the hesperidic, and a complete pleasure to drink.

Mar 7th, 2017A lot of young oak overpowers an otherwise smooth and creamy Chardonnay. Very good now, and likely excellent in several years as the oak is tempered in the bottle.
