Love these wines...great as usual. Slate, lemon, sweet florals, honeysuckle?, great hint of butterscotch from the age, but not too much, tiny hint of fennel? Much the same on the palate...just beginning to hit maturity, and the rigid spine of acidity is starting to soften. Great wine, nice way to end a day of shoveling out from #snowzilla

1 person found it helpfulJan 24th, 2016From an A+ vineyard, on the St. Aubin side of the Montrachet hill. Next to the Chevalier Montrachet parcel, but with a different exposure (south-west instead of south-east). Energetic Burgundy from a rising star domaine (especially since son Olivier took over in 1995).

Sep 1st, 2015After a corked 04, I was lucky enough to have this backup bottle. Showed more 09 than place or producer, but after about an hour I could recognize the house style. I feel like chablis crushes this vintage more than other zones.
