Your opinion of this wine will be very much influenced by what you've tasted immediately before. I've now tasted this one on a number of occasions and only now am I able to review it. It most definitely need time to breath before tasting. It's not a giant and shouldn't be judged against giants. Rather it's got some delicateness that will only show itself with the right food match. I don't think this is one to go with the juicy steak, but think charcuterie and some softer cheeses you'd normally pair with a white. Nice all things considered.

The kid didn’t come out of the gate strong. It was aerated and still tasted very sour. Once this opened up it was addictive. Very light and subtle, but nice underlying plumb and tobacco notes. Kid’s got potential.
