About to grill some lamb shoulder chops with garlic and rosemary. And I really love Cabernet with grilled lamb. This Cab is deep and entering its peak period, I think. Nose has deep cassis and dark berry, smoky gravel, and a bit of cedar and graphite. Dark and rich in the mouth. Quite a bit of tannin, but the fruit accompanies it to the prom, so it’s all good. Better than good.
