Grocery shopping always make thirsty, does this happen to anyone else? So seeing as I was at Coles I quickly popped into Liquorland and picked up this Houghton 2019 Margaret River Chardonnay for $13 on special. Cheap, cheerful and the perfect way to satisfy my post-shopping thirst.
In the glass it’s a pale yellow shade with whiffs of vanilla oak, apricots and citrus rising up from the glass. It’s juicy and flavoursome in the mouth with lemon zest, fresh peach and a bit of baking spice.
Plus the pram came in handy for lugging this one and the groceries home. Oh yeah and baby TC too 😜
