Slightly over the hill. Not sure why... Should have easily lasted this long. Birth year juice!

French 2018, great Pinot with a full body, low tannins, and balanced acidity/sweetness. One to hang on to! 10+

Classic aged Burgundy, opened skanky but settled to mushrooms, barnyard, earthy minerally elements on the nose with a nuance of violets. Wonderful length with grippy tannins. Lovely drinking and nice to drink with my brother as it was a gift 20 years ago from our cousin.

The nose smells of age. Wood, cedar, leather, banana. Wow.

The wine is typical with burgundy styling and flavor a but fails to really inspire.

Limited production of this lovely 2011 premier cru. Still fresh and tannic and will benefit from time in the bottle. Subtle forest fruit and well rounded on palate.
