This is in a sweet spot right now. Tastes properly aged but not old and tired. Briar, dried blackberry and cured meat. Delicious!

Had a funky, barnyardy even a little sauerkraut nose to it but it blew off and it was great. Especially with BBQ.

Showing well. Firm tannin, evolving red fruit, and just a touch of old barn. Still a little tight. Would like to revisit in another 3-5 years.

Meo-Camuzet Hospice wine gone wrong! This bretty, muddy bottle still had a lot of intrigue, but sadly not much pleasure.

This is a perplexing bottle now. A lot of oak on the nose and palate. The nose shows decent fruit but the oak tannin and flavors on the palate overwhelm the wine. Acid is on the low side. Underwhelming at best.

This was truly spectacular. Possibly the best Burg I've had in awhile.
