Man, this is like cutting open a real live vanilla bean with a paring knife. Very rich and flavorful. Tannins are a touch strong which knocks this puppy down a notch. Time might mellow that, however.

Dark ruby in color with a purple rim.
Fruity nose with blackberries, figs, chocolate, smoke, cloves and spices.
Medium to full bodied, with nice legs and a nice mouth feel.
Fruity palate and spicy with blackberries, blueberries, plums, figs, plums, vanilla and peppercorn.
Medium finish with elegant tannins and black pepper.
