Smooth, mellow cab. Lots of tannins, but not overly dry. Reminds me of some European wines with the fullness of a cab. Peppery finish.

I was quite amazed how smooth it was. Heavier and full bodied tannins, but very smooth and balanced with cherry notes.

Hope family has been making Liberty School Cab since 1990. In 1996, Hopes established Treana Winery & put Liberty School as part of Hope Family Wines. I remember Liberty school in the ‘80s, good value then and now. Aromas of lively berry fruits with oak and spice. On the palate cherry and blackberry, bit jammy, with toasty oak and pepper spice. Firm tannins, medium, ending with fruit and spice. Drink now! Good value!
