Russian River Valley Pinot Noir

The 2017 Russian River is drinking better at this stage than the Doctors Vineyard. Round, better integration, smoother. Perfect ripe; blackberries, black raspberries, raspberries, dark cherries, strawberries, some pomegranate, both licorices-more black, mid berry cola, steeped fruit tea, feels like their might have been some stem inclusion, caramel & vanilla notes, light tarriness, limestone minerals, volcanics, beautiful dark, red florals. Excellent acidy. Nicely balanced and polished finish that lasts nearly two minutes.

Charles Hendricks one of the most underrated Winemakers in the Napa/Sonoma/Santa Lucia areas.

Easy drinking, cherries and peppery spice and everything nice. These pinots are always a bit bigger, but the heat wasn't noticeable and its lush mouthfeel complemented a great conversation with a friend and mentor.

Some nights require a big Pinot with in your face fruit and well woven peppery tannins.

Easy drinking. Only 10 barrels produced. Went perfectly with the grilled salmon my beautiful wife made for dinner. Cherry berry light and soft.

Took it a day to open up , really mellow with subtle hints of spice

Medium bodied Pinot. I liked the 2014 better but this is very nice.

Bit of earth, gets better in the glass , probably better.with dishes with strong spices

Light bodied, Cherry exposition, vanilla and spice. Such a shame only 7 barrels produced.
