Quick note from a charity dinner event. 3rd bottle.
I have never fully understood the Rutherford dust, but from this bottle I got a sense of that. And that alone says a lot about the bottling. And really smooth like liquid silk. Stylish.

Honig 2010 cabernet sauvignon from Campbell Vineyard in Rutherford. This one needs to decant!!!!!!! On first aroma immediately after pulling the cork, there was an incredible spice and chocolate bouquet. The first sip was amazing but then the wine opened up to the air and started to taste very plummy. Its been decanting one hour and still no good. Way too sweet for my palate. My wife loves it…
