Campbell Vineyard Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

The fruit is still shining from this wine. The tannins had mellowed out and the texture was gorgeous. Perfect with grilled flank steaks.

Welcomed 2017 with a well-balanced and flavorful cab from one of my favorite Napa producers. Enjoyed with cheesy fondue. Happy New Year!

This was a lot better than I expected.

Dry but no lingering tannin, drinkable now but interested to see how this age

This was a fabulous bottle of wine, blackberry, black cherry, cassis, some hint of current. A little smoke at the end, with the oak finishing this wine making outstanding!

Superb! Sauvignon of majestic quality, with hint of chocolate and enormously round impression of succulent dark plum.

2007 Honig, Campbell Vineyard, leather, dark chocolate , hint of earthy minerals.

Tasted black cherry and cocoa. Nice finish.

Flank steak, a little sautéed spinach, some if this...perfect Saturday.

Overly oaked masking some ripe fruit trying to get through.
