A most lovely evening with amazing dinner guests...and this guy the first of two different bottles. .right up front the nose was fruity with cherry strawberries and slight acetone. To the palate super ripe cherry, strawberry slightly peppery with a med plus finish. For the price point of this guy is an excellent value on a chateauneuf de pape..

Deep purple in color with aromas of cherry and spice; nicely balanced, off-dry with supple tannins. This is excellent by itself and paired well with lamb stew. This wine was decanted for approximately 1 hour.
