Top Notes For
"Odedi"

Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim.

Nose of red and blue fruits with light wood, spices, coffee, earth, tobacco leaf and herbs.

Medium plus in body with medium acidity.

Dry on the palate with sweet raspberries, cherries, red currants, earth, light wood, spices, coffee, dark chocolates, tobacco and black pepper.

Medium finish with fine grained tannins and tangy cherries.

This is a very tasty Mourvedre based Rhone blend from El Dorado in California. Nicely balanced with a soft mouthfeel. Fruit forward, complex and elegant.

Feels like a California red with a touch of Cotes du Rhône.

Easy drinking and needs 20 minutes in the glass to open up and remove some of the alcohol notes.

Already drinking very nicely, and would be nice to see how it evolves in the next few years.

A great sipping wine to drink by the porch. I gave it a light chill and paired it with cheeses and crackers.

A blend of 60% Mourvedre, 19% Syrah, 11% Grenache and 10% Counoise. Aged in used French oak barrels for 10 months. A small production of less than 5,000 bottles.

14.2% alcohol by volume.

90 points.
