Nose on this seems more ripe, more fruity and less severe than the Herrenberg. Herbal quality as well as a hint of vulcanized rubber. Some apricot. Very unique and compelling nose. Palate has terrific power and concentration and loads of dry extract. It’s packed and very piquant. Loads of dense and mouth ripping minerals and so much acidity. Amazingly pure and long. Terrific energy. A light yet very intense and complex Riesling.

This is light bodied but so intense. Lots of chalk and minerality, and of course loads of acid. Long finish. Fruit is definitely secondary to the minerality. Quite nice.

R - lemon water
N - lite little sniff of tennis ball, very citric
B - lean, so bright, lemon juice, lipsmacking, tight. Def could use some time! Felt like infanticide, despite kabinett rating.
