Sweet and sour cherry. Not quite the depth or length that I've enjoyed from Hirsch in the past. The 2017 East Ridge Pinot is tasty but not close to the wonderful wines I'm used to from this estate.

One of Hirsch’s more rugged bottlings, being on the east ridge. Opened way to early. So much acidity and freshness overwhelmed the darker fruits you could tell sat beneath. Lots of promise. Will wait on the next one.

This wine was really nicely balanced and wonderfully delicious. Dried earth and fruit on the palate. Really enjoying the subtleties of that coastal Pinots give.

Delightful Pinot Noir. On the lighter side of medium, dry, smooth, balanced with lovely red berries.
