Red Mountain, Columbia Valley, Oregon/Washington, USARed Mountain, Columbia Valley, Oregon/Washington, USAVery different blend as this has 38% Petit Verdot, 26% Cabernet, and 12% each Merlot, Malbec & Franc. It drinks very old world, with a ton of tart mountain berries and bright acidity. The tannins are there, but not nearly as unyielding as I suspected. This definitey needs a hearty meal & some beef stew hit the spot. Aromatics are pretty wild with exotic fruit & fresh herbs. Not one for everyday, but enjoyable nonetheless.
