Layers of smoke, earth, licorice, hibiscus. Quite complex for the price, and much more Burgundian than Monterey, to its credit. Taste this side by side with the winemakers other Pinot and see what a funny world pinot can be. No two are even close in similar character.

Rich black cherry and mulberry aromas, bright acidity with lots of fruit and a balanced silky body. Not bad for CA 🤣 Pinot Noir and Valdaguie.

Simple, peppery flavors but pairs amazingly with smoked meats.

Just fair. Plump full and sweet but with a finish thats a bit too dry for my taste.

Pomegranate and mineral on the nose. Grapefruit upfront. Slight pepper on the mid palate with some sugary retro nasal. Slowly drying tannins on the finish.
