Opens with a healthy dose of band-aid on the nose. Follows with menthol, Luden's, and asphalt.

A little thin & light - suspect it is on the downhill slide - fruit is there still but pulls up really short - will have the rest soon me thinks!

Have a few more of these squirreled away, but opened for an old friend who used to buy a ton of Hewitson wines from me — this was nearly flawless, just a stunning presentation, best it’s shown — ever.

Wow, still going strong - the ripe fruit (black/blue) concentration in this wine is off the charts without being jammy or flabby - might be one of the most generous Shiraz ever from AUS

Lovely after a few days. Needed some time out of the bottle. Character changed almost on a daily basis.
