Goldkapsel auction version of this Spätlese Riesling from this famous vineyard. So famous indeed that it is simply Steinberg without the use of a village or town.
From the extremely hot 2003 vintage.
Lanolin, light petrol, fresh almonds, light honey, chalk.
Full, juicy balance of sweet and sour. Honeyed grapefruit with hint of violets in the aftertaste.
