Ardèche Syrah

Tart, natty, a bit astringent. Lively, but not super ripe.

Deep color high toned, black cherry, violet, rosemary

Really enjoyed this Syrah - What a nose

Had both the 2019 and 2020 side by side. Preferred the 2020 but 2019 was also spectacular

A very light and perfumed version of syrah. Lilac and rosemary on the nose. The palate is med bodied with very pure but muted red fruit. Stemmy.

One dimensional. Lacked depth and flavor. Overpriced.

Medium bodied, low alcohol. Would drink again but a bit young 2020. Helen's.

Four bottles over dinner. Second and Third the best, a bit more acidic than the others. First bottle was more plummy than the others, and the fourth was more sour.

Cracked pepper, blackberry, bright acid, pure 😋
