Blanc Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Nuits Chardonnay

Amazing wine!

Blanc. Grape is pinot blanc not Chardonnay. This wine is sick. Sick. Sick unctuous internal aromatics. Great acidity. Long finish. His only white and it's sick. Wow. Wow. Wow.

This is a delicious, plump white burgundy. For Gilligan's Island buffs, this is definitely Mary Ann. Honey, burgundy-soil-in-the-morning, and deeply fruited nose. Lowish alcohol forming the structure for chubby flavors of minerals and earthy pear juice. Decent acids and pure pure finish. Totally gluggable, bit nice to ponder too. Reminds me of a fantastic 78 Macon Vire I had in the early 80s when I was just getting into wine. Weird how flavors and smells can transport the mind back and dredge up old memories.

Wow. What a showing. Acid and creamy . Explosive. Unreal. Pinot Blanc at its best.

So-so. Overly ripe and lacking acid for my taste.

Flint laced buttered apple. This baby would wreck a blind lineup of giants. A gem.

Blanc. Lovely. Really nice. See what this is like day 2.....
