Heron Hill
Reserve Baco Noir
Baco Noir? I’d never heard of it, but fun to try what turns out to be a specialty of our northeastern wines. Tons of fruit, med bodied, soft and easy structure

May 15th, 2022French hybrid. Dark and red fruit is balanced by tar and smoke. Nice minerality. Delicious.

Aug 9th, 2020Aged this one for a couple years after getting a chance to try a cellar aged 2006 in the Keuka tasting room. It was by far the best finger lakes Red I have ever had.

Oct 31st, 2017Unusual variety that I only find in the finger lake region or niagara region of upstate New York. Reminiscent of a young Beaujolais, very light body with med+ acid and cherry/black pepper notes. nice red to have during a warm day and certainly something unique to show off to friends as "something different."
