In advance of my Thanksgiving trip to Central NY, enjoying some Finger Lakes wines. Have a case of this sitting in storage and almost forgot about it. First bottle of the 2008 reserve. Smooth, a bit of alcohol on the palate (surprising for 12.5% abv) but quite delicious. Enjoyed with a sausage and crimini mushroom pizza and then with skirt steak, mushrooms and haricot vert.
