100% Mourvedre and aged 36 months in 30% new French Oak. This one needs a little air to get started but she’s a beaut if u give her the time. Massive on entry, tongue slathering flavors of blackberry pie and spiced cherries. Loved every drop.

Jul 7th, 2018I have no idea if this is representative of the varietal but who cares?!? 16% ABV and quite a mouthful of spice and blackberry, with an extended finish. Still going. Damn fine juice!

This big boy (16% abv) is extremely enjoyable after a quick decant. Fun wine to compare to the Once & Future Mataro we had a couple weeks ago. Relatively new varietal for us but I dig it!
