Escolha dos Enólogos Red Blend

I found this to be a really impressive bargain for a sub-$10 bottle of wine. In fact, it needs a lot of air. Day 1 is was good but it was at Day 3 that it showed best. Dark, tart brambles, pomegranate, sumac, and even a little lemon citrus. Very impressive actually. Give this air and it will reward you.

It's got the old world character , dried fruits taste and dark cherry on the nose. Beautiful tannins. Paid less than $20, you get a wine that delivers lovely sensation every taste.

Abundance of fruit. Tastes like a primitivo... from the west. Really good.

Really opened up after about a half hour.

Nose is blackberry with a hint of menthol. On the palate you get strawberry, oak, cedar, and sage. Chewy tannins and moderate acid in the finish. A brawny wine that would hold up to a steak nicely.

Had to give it some time to breathe.

Medium body, smooth cherry, not too tannic, medium but pleasant finish.

Tannic with lots of potential and under 20$ a bottle

Great in warm climate with complex flavours and good friends.

Versatile medium bodied smooth red very easy on the palate.
