Big bold Shiraz, fresh nose beautiful berries and fruits. Smooth upfront with plenty of balanced tannins and oak on the palate.

Pop n pour:
Time has taken care of the overt and opulent blend of bacon fat and blueberrypie.
Today, 5 years later, this has significantly more elegance (!) and better balance. Gorgeous notes of lavender, dark plums and blackberries, coffeebeans, a spicy pepper/cinnamon/nutmeg mixture and a whiff of cocoapowder.
Great wine. Delicious.

Dried plum, dark chocolate; eucalyptus, soy sauce, black licorice, and stewed blackberry. More nonfruit than fruit on the nose. Acidity adds plenty of youthfulness. Black olive and dark cherry fruit. Supple on the mouth. Well made. Delicious. Drinking well now.

Plum and blackcherry reduction, cracked pepper, cedar, clove, eccaplytis and anise. Suprisingly balanced mouthfeel with bounding acidity and integrating tannin. Blackberry pie and bosienberry fruit. Vanilla and clove carry through. Finishes with elegance depiste the name. Drink now or over the next 5 years.

Best of the best, as in red of the barossa. @Hentleyfarm Dear Napa, you got nothin’ on this. But don’t mess with the Beauty, 50 m up the hill from this grape and she is as mellow as a nun on prozac
