Dead Letter Office Padthaway Shiraz

Vintage is 2005. Shiraz. Exuberant fruit. The alcohol is a bit much at 15%, but it carries it well.

Super nice. Easy to drink but still representative.

Dark ruby red color with aromas of dark red fruit and spice. The palate shows black cherries and plums with vanilla spice, black pepper and soft tannins, slightly acidic. The wine is medium bodied with a medium spice finish, integrated well balanced, a little hot on the ending. Nice wine.

For the last in a long line if bottles tonight, this is tasting very nice.

Trying this 08 from Australia tonight

Lovely notes of licorice and berry. Drinking with sharp cheese, crackers and olives

2010. Slightly smokey back note but a nice fruity drop.

Big and yummy

This goes tremendously well with a good steak or prosciutto with a good blue cheese.

Tastes of pepper and fruits. Very nice wine.
