Retasted over a year after my initial review. Not sure what I was thinking with my 92 points. Palate fatigue after a serious Madeira flight? Quite possibly. Holy god this is great. Easily one of the most complex, vibrant and elegant fortified beverages I’ve ever had the pleasure to taste. Worth every penny if you’re a serious Madeira collector. Honeyed but never cloying, unctuous yet focused, savory yet fresh. The fruit is so youthful and preserved and the acidity is screaming. Find this and drink it!
