La Côte des Monts Damnés Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc

Vintage 2011 True to type, flint minerals and citrus tones, good balance. Mont Damnes are the damned hills were it is difficult to work for a winegrower. But surely they are good to catch the sun for the vines.

Mineral, clean, high acid, white floral

Wonderfully aged, just this side of oxidation. A lovely introduction to Sancerre in Chavignol.
