Found a stray bottle of this. Ruby red-purple with excellent clarity, medium to high pigment extraction. Butter and red fruit notes in nose. Cherry, raspberry, seed bitterness and buttery oily finish with some coarse astringency, very puckery. Warm, not hot finish. Ready to drink. Some black pepper, spearmint and coolness in mouth.
